Position:

We are seeking a knowledgeable, organized, and dependable Parts Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience as a parts specialist or technician. In this role, you will work closely with and under the direction of the Parts Manager to support daily operations. This is a hands-on position that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communications kills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock. Perform regular cycle counts and occasional audits. Place orders with vendors by phone, e-mail, and online ordering systems. Pull, review, and analyze inventory and parts-related reports to assist with purchasing, inventory management, and department operations. Receive and distribute incoming part shipments to technicians or inventory. Process and complete warranty claims and quotes in a timely manner. Prepare and sell excess or obsolete parts through online marketplaces such as eBay and Amazon, including researching part numbers, creating listings, maintaining accurate descriptions, and coordinating sales/shipping. Communicate effectively with vendors to find best part availability, delivery times and pricing. Correctly identify or cross reference part numbers and compatibility. Update inventory records to include cross-referencing OEM, aftermarket, and alternate part numbers. Track returns, cores, back orders, lead times, and deliveries. Provide coverage for the service department and parts runner when needed. Communicate effectively with technicians, vendors, management, and service advisor. Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

At least two years of experience as a parts specialist or technician. Knowledge in heavy duty repairs a plus. Must be a self-starter with good time management, planning, multi-tasking, and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including organizing and maintaining spreadsheets, sorting/filtering data, and working with reports. Strong computer and communication skills Must be able to work with minimal supervision Able to lift 50 pounds Valid driver's license

Pay:

$21.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
