OD Rentals is a fast-growing independent rental car business focused on providing affordable, reliable vehicles to rideshare and delivery drivers. We operate a lean, high-efficiency model and are looking for someone dependable who can help keep vehicles on the road and customers satisfied.Position Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on, reliable Rental Car Agent to help manage day-to-day vehicle operations. This is not a desk job — you will be actively working with cars, customers, and logistics.Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle pickups, drop-offs, and exchanges with renters
- Clean and prep vehicles for new rentals
- Perform basic vehicle checks (fluids, tire pressure, lights, etc.)
- Communicate with renters regarding payments, issues, and extensions
- Track vehicle status (maintenance, availability, downtime)
- Assist with taking vehicles to mechanics, inspections, or parts stores
- Document vehicle condition with photos at each check-in and check-out
- Report damages, issues, or concerns quickly and clearly
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Comfortable driving a variety of vehicles
- Strong communication and reliability (this is critical)
- Mechanical Awareness is a plus (not required, but helpful)
- Ability to move quickly and solve problems without constant supervision
Preferred Traits:
- Hustle mindset — you understand that cars sitting = lost money
- Detail-oriented — you notice small issues before they become big ones
- Tech-friendly — able to use apps, GPS tracking systems, and messaging tools
- Flexible availability (some evenings/weekends may be needed)
Compensation:
Starting:
$13/hr- Automatic raise to $15/hr at 60 days for strong performers
- Performance bonuses possible as the fleet grows
