Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting pet products, supplies, and accessories tailored to their needs Operate the cash register efficiently, handling retail sales transactions with accuracy and confidence using POS systems Conduct product demos to showcase new items or popular products, enhancing customer engagement and sales opportunities Maintain well-organized shelves through stocking, merchandising, and inventory management to ensure product availability and store appeal Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions about pet care, store policies, and product features with clear communication skills Assist with upselling by recommending complementary products and promoting ongoing promotions or loyalty programs Support store operations by handling cash drawer balancing, basic math calculations for transactions, and ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed Experience Prior retail sales experience is preferred, especially in pet store environments Interest in pets and pet products Friendly, outgoing, and reliable.
