The Role We are looking for a professional, warm, and detail-oriented Flooring Sales Consultant to join our showroom team. In this role you will guide residential customers and interior designers through the selection of carpet, area rugs, vinyl, wood flooring, and tile — from the first showroom visit through measuring, estimating, and follow-up. Our approach is consultative and relationship-driven: we favor soft, no-pressure sales and long-term customer care over high-pressure tactics. The right person genuinely enjoys helping people create a home they love and takes pride in earning repeat and referral business for generations to come. What We're Looking For A professional demeanor with a warm, approachable personality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and in writing. The ability to read and interpret drawings and plans, and to review and estimate jobs accurately. A natural relationship builder who is comfortable with a soft, consultative sales style focused on long-term customers. Great follow-up habits and strong attention to detail and organization. Confidence and comfort working with both residential customers and interior designers. A background in home furnishings, flooring, design, or a related field is a plus. Availability to work our full-time schedule, including Saturdays.
