We are hiring for our Christmas Season Staffing of the Ringoes Gift shop! We are looking for a resiliant and dependable person represent BR&W Railroad to our guests at BR&W's Ringoes station. This is a part time

SEASONAL

staff role. All Ringoes ticket agents must be at least 18 years old.

Hours available:

afternoon/evening shift on Saturday and on Sunday daytime.

Job duties:

Learn retail and ticketing software. Must feel comfortable using a computer. Open BR&W station for business. Stock gift shop as needed and tidy shelves. Sell items in the gift shop. Answer phone on a backup basis for the Flemington Agent. Must be willing and able to work independently. Handle cash, adhering to all procedures set forth by the Customer Service Manager and Treasurer. Maintain assigned station and surrounding area(s) in a neat and orderly fashion. This includes but is not be limited to: Empty trash cans, sweeping, dusting. Patrol outdoor platform areas for cleanliness and change trash bin bags in between trains. Check restrooms for supplies and tidy as needed. Must be able to climb and descend stairs. Available hours are typically around 6 to 8 hours, depending on the shift. This seasonal position is from Nov 22 to Dec 20 but may continue into the following year for the right candidate. We are, closed for the season from Dec 21 through the end of February.
