A love for dogs is a must. You'll be surrounded by them in our store, meeting customers and their dogs throughout the day. Paws of Us is a growing pet lifestyle brand offering apparel and accessories for dogs and cats, personalized products, officially licensed sports and entertainment merchandise, toys, treats, gifts and more. Giving back is at the heart of what we do. Through our Shared Life, Shared Love Project, we donate one pound of food to pets in need with every purchase. As a Key Holder / Retail Lead, you'll help lead day-to-day store operations while creating an exceptional customer experience. This position is ideal for someone with retail or customer-service experience who is dependable, confident, organized and comfortable taking responsibility when ownership or senior management is not on the sales floor.

Responsibilities:

Help lead and support the retail team during assigned shifts Provide outstanding customer service and help drive sales Open and/or close the store when scheduled Assist with POS transactions, cash handling and end-of-day procedures Help maintain appropriate floor coverage and keep associates focused during busy periods Assist with merchandising, product replenishment and store presentation Help resolve customer questions and concerns professionally Support the personalization team and other areas of the store as needed Help maintain a clean, organized and customer-ready environment Follow and help reinforce store policies, safety procedures and loss-prevention practices Communicate operational issues and important information to ownership and management

What We're Looking For:

Previous retail, sales, hospitality or customer-service experience preferred Leadership, supervisory or key-holder experience is a plus Dependable, punctual and trustworthy Strong communication and customer-service skills Comfortable taking initiative and making decisions during a shift Ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced retail environment Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays Ability to open and/or close the store when scheduled
