Retail Sales & Customer Service Associate Eneslow Pedorthic Enterprises - Little Neck, NY 11362 Eneslow is seeking a dependable, personable sales and customer service associate to help customers find comfortable, supportive footwear, orthotics, and appropriate pedorthic solutions. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and provide attentive, professional service. Ask questions to understand each customer's footwear needs, preferences, fit concerns, and intended use. Recommend appropriate footwear, accessories, orthotics, and related products. Measure customers' feet and help evaluate shoe fit. Explain product features and basic pedorthic benefits clearly and honestly. Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat business. Process purchases, returns, exchanges, and payments accurately. Answer telephone calls and assist with customer questions. Keep displays, shelves, stock areas, and the sales floor organized. Retrieve, restock, and properly return merchandise to the correct location. Assist with inventory counts, shipments, merchandising, and general store operations. Work cooperatively with management, sales staff, and pedorthic staff. Qualifications Previous retail sales, customer service, footwear, pedorthic, orthotic, apparel, or medical-product experience is preferred. Strong communication and listening skills. Comfortable starting conversations and making product recommendations. Patient and respectful when working with older adults and customers who may have foot discomfort, mobility limitations, medical conditions, or special fitting needs. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Able to learn product information, footwear-fitting techniques, and basic pedorthic concepts. Able to use a point-of-sale system and perform basic computer tasks. Available to work a flexible retail schedule, including [Saturdays, Sundays, evenings, or holidays as applicable].
