Job Summary OKG Jewelers is seeking a friendly, dependable, and motivated Jewelry Sales & Social Media Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate should communicate confidently with customers, be comfortable selling jewelry, and provide an excellent in-store experience. This position will also assist with inventory, basic Excel work, jewelry management software, and creating social media content. We are looking for someone who is organized, creative, comfortable recording jewelry videos, and able to identify current Instagram trends and content ideas. Responsibilities Welcome customers and provide friendly, professional service. Help customers select jewelry based on their needs, style, and budget. Explain jewelry features, materials, diamonds, gemstones, and available customization options. Build customer relationships and confidently recommend or upsell products. Answer phone calls, Instagram messages, and customer inquiries professionally. Process sales accurately using the store's point-of-sale system. Assist with entering, updating, and organizing inventory. Use Microsoft Excel for basic inventory lists, pricing, and store-related tasks. Learn and use our jewelry inventory and management software. Keep jewelry displays organized, clean, and visually appealing. Photograph and record jewelry for Instagram Reels, Stories, and posts. Help develop creative content ideas based on current social media trends. Assist with posting content and responding to social media comments and messages. Support the team with general day-to-day store operations. Qualifications Strong communication and customer service skills. Friendly, professional, and comfortable speaking with customers. Comfortable selling and recommending products. Previous retail or sales experience is preferred. Jewelry knowledge or previous jewelry-store experience is strongly preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Comfortable learning new point-of-sale and jewelry inventory software. Familiarity with Instagram, Reels, Stories, and social media trends. Comfortable photographing and recording jewelry with a phone or camera. Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented. Able to multitask and work well in a busy retail environment.
