Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills in sales techniques, product knowledge, POS systems, and customer engagement. Manage payroll, scheduling, and shift management to ensure optimal staffing levels aligned with store needs. Oversee inventory control, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales and minimize shrinkage. Utilize negotiation skills to build strong vendor relationships and secure favorable purchasing terms. Maintain operational standards by supervising cashiering activities, cash handling procedures, bookkeeping, and basic math accuracy. Drive sales growth through effective marketing initiatives, merchandising strategies, and promotional campaigns. Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety regulations while fostering a positive team environment through managerial communication and leadership. Skills Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly in bilingual or multilingual settings. Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping tools. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, pricing strategies, and customer service excellence. Experience in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development to build motivated teams. Knowledge of retail math including sales calculations, budgeting, and financial analysis for store performance improvement. Capable of supervising staff during shifts while managing time effectively to meet operational goals. Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store environments is advantageous but not required.
