Full-Time, Non-Exempt Overview AdeptHR is partnering with a leading specialty food distributor to hire a driven and results-oriented Territory Sales Representative . This role is focused on building strong customer relationships, driving new business, and achieving sales targets in a competitive market. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional who thrives in a relationship-driven environment and enjoys both fieldwork and strategic sales execution. Responsibilities Present, promote, and sell products using strong product knowledge and customer-focused recommendations Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing customers Generate leads through networking, outreach, and in-person visits Conduct product sampling and cost-benefit analyses to meet customer needs Accurately enter and manage orders (pricing, products, timelines) Resolve customer concerns in collaboration with internal teams Track sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback Achieve and exceed sales targets set by management Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations Stay informed on industry trends and opportunities Requirements Must Have Minimum 5 years of experience in wholesale meat sales Strong communication and relationship-building skills Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Outlook) High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Nice to Have Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field Experience in food service, hospitality, or grocery industries Industry certifications or additional sales training Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance AFLAC supplemental insurance 401(k) with employer match Paid Time Off (10 days annually) Paid sick leave (per CA law) Supportive and collaborative team environmentSimilar remote jobs
