Job Description
Sales Business Development Center Agent Preston Auto Group is seeking a friendly, energetic Automotive Sales BDC Representative to join our Sales BDC Team. Previous experience is preferred but not required. As a Sales BDC Agent, you're often the first voice and first impression customers have of our dealership. You'll respond to incoming calls, texts, emails, and internet leads, keep detailed notes on every interaction, and proactively follow up with prospective customers to schedule showroom appointments and test drives. Success in this role means consistently following up with customers, meeting appointment goals, and creating a positive experience that drives sales. Responsibilities Handle incoming phone calls, text messages, emails, and internet leads for our Sales Departments Respond promptly to new customer inquiries and follow up with prospective customers Contact customers to understand their vehicle needs and assist with scheduling appointments Schedule and confirm appointments for test drives and sales consultations Proactively follow up with unsold leads and customers who have not yet scheduled an appointment Maintain and update customer contact and vehicle information Work with customers in a professional, friendly, and well-spoken manner Meet and exceed phone call, contact, appointment, and appointment show-ratio goals Log all customer interactions, appointments, and notes accurately in the dealership's CRM/BDC tracking system Follow BDC scripts, processes, and guidelines for calls, texts, and emails Work closely with the Sales Team to communicate customer needs and appointment details Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout every interaction Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Prior sales, customer service, BDC, or automotive experience preferred Excellent phone skills with clear, distinct speech Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational skills and detailed note-taking ability Goal-driven with a high level of honesty and integrity Team player with a strong will to win Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls and following up consistently CRM and dealership software experience a plus Bilingual (Spanish) a plus Benefits Health, Dental & Vision Insurance 401K with Employer Match Paid Uniforms Paid Time Off Paid Training Employee Pricing on New Vehicles Free Access to the Preston Auto Fitness Center We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
