We are hiring an experienced freight broker to handle accounts from first call through final invoice. This is a long-term seat. We are looking for someone who wants to build a book here and stay with it, not someone looking for a place to land for a year. What you'll do Call on new customers from our existing lane list — prospect, quote, and close Handle the full cycle on every load: sell it, source the carrier, book it, cover it, track it, solve problems, invoice it Negotiate rates on both sides and manage margin Build long-term shipper relationships Source and vet carriers, including cross-border capacity Keep the TMS current and accurate What you'll be working Domestic van and reefer out of the Valley into the Midwest and Southeast. We want to see that you stay where you land. Bilingual English/Spanish, fluent in both Comfortable cold calling. This is a sales seat. Working knowledge of a TMS and major load boards Ability to hold margin without losing the customer In-office in McAllen, Monday through Friday A portable book of business is not required. We supply the lanes. Compensation $45,000-$55,000 base depending on experience, plus uncapped commission on the margin you produce. First-year total earnings could reach $75,000-$110,000.
