Food Handler Certification Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are a locally owned company with a family friendly retail store. Our ideal canaidate will find pride in creating a friendly and unique customer experience and giving outstanding service to accompany our delicious products. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to : Making nut butters and other packaged goods. Greeting every guest and assisting them in a friendly and efficient manner in finding the right items and educate them about each product. Opening and closing cash register and accurately managing cash and credit card payments. Stocking shelves and putting up displays. Assembling bags and labeling products. Performing opening and closing duties. Balancing cash register and receipts Participating in the spirit of teamwork and cooperation. Being a positive ambassador of our brand in our local area—cultivate and nurture relationships with our customers and community members. Follow all company food quality, sanitation, safety and security policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Professional and pleasant disposition, able to give all customers a positive customer service experience. Must be available to work weekends Adaptable to changing priorities and varied responsibilities. Work effectively as a team including covering co-workers' shifts when determined necessary by Retail Manager or Human Resource Manager. Ability to multitask, and complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision. Demonstrate dependability, strong work ethic and personal integrity/honesty. Able to take direction from Direct Supervisor and Executive Management and have a willingness to learn and work as a team. Calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages). Valid Washington State Food Handler's permit.
Physical Demands:
Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor, kitchen area, stockroom, repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, ascending/descending stairs, reaching, and lifting to stock and merchandise store. Ability to lift and move product and objects comfortably weighing up to 50lbs. throughout the store and facility.
Preferred Education:
High School Diploma or Equivalent.
