The Inside Sales Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing the Insides Sales Representatives, while functioning as liaison between Outsides Sales Representatives and customers to communicate any special requests, pricing needs, marketing opportunities or unusual circumstances.Principal Responsibilities :
- Provides product knowledge, and price quotes to convert inbound/outbound inquiries into sales orders
- Follows up on sales leads generated by branch's General Manager and Sales Manager(s)
- Builds and maintains customer relationships through sales activities created by the branch
- Monitors technical and business objections for prospective customers
- Investigates and resolves customer problems to maintain positive customer relationships
- Communicates quotes, product shortages, and quality issues withy buyers
- Prepares daily reports of business transactions
- Responsible for timely and effective performance management and conflict resolution efforts for the Inside Sales Team
- Other duties as described by manager
Role Requirements:
- High school diploma with 2
- 4 years of experience
REQUIRED.
Experience with millwork and building materials industry is highly desirable- Strong customer-centric focus
- Experience working in a sales driven environment highly desirable
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts regarding sales and the application of basic algebra concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to effectively communicate with Sales team and
Leadership Physical Demands:
The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk. Additionally, the employee must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 poundsWork Environment:
The work environment requires the employee to work regularly near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee occasionally is exposed to harsh outside weather conditions.
