Produce Clerk

Andy's Produce Market is seeking full-time Produce Clerks to join the morning crew from 4:00am - 12:30pm or closing crew from 12:00pm - 8:30pm.

WORKING FOR ANDY'S PRODUCE MARKET

Our Produce Clerks are responsible for contributing to the inventory and maintenance of the Produce Department by: Trimming, cleaning, and preparing produce for retail sale Performing Front House maintenance including facing shelved products and organic food on the Produce sales floor Shelving products from storage and walk-in coolers to the appropriate section of the store Providing exceptional customer service and client satisfaction by being knowledgeable about our products Working with a sense of urgency and efficiency to keep our community continually supplied with the best products at the best prices

WHAT YOU CAN CONTRIBUTE

This position is prefect for someone who: Feels rewarded by community service and a honest day's work Has the ability to work a full 40 hours per week Has a strong work ethic and is dependable and trustworthy Is self-motivated with a professional demeanor Has strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and all levels of staff The physical strength and endurance to perform work in a retail and grocery setting, including occasionally lifting and carrying items up to 60 pounds, working in cool temperatures between 45°-65°, and the ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner The most qualified candidates will have previous experience in the grocery industry.
