About The Store San Juan Capistrano - River Street Marketplace Located within River Street Marketplace, a thoughtfully designed shopping and dining destination in the heart of historic San Juan Capistrano, this location offers a boutique retail experience centered around premium eyewear, personalized styling, and elevated guest service.

The store provides full optical services, including prescription lenses, fittings, adjustments, repairs, custom orders, and ongoing client care. Key Responsibilities Client Experience & Sales Deliver exceptional hospitality and personalized service Style clients in premium eyewear and recommend lens solutions based on lifestyle needs Build lasting customer relationships and repeat business Meet individual and team sales goals Handle transactions professionally and accurately Optical Support Interpret prescriptions Assist with frame and lens selection Perform adjustments, fittings, and minor repairs Coordinate eyewear orders and follow-up communication Maintain product knowledge across multiple eyewear brands Administrative Support Answer phones and respond to email inquiries Schedule appointments and manage calendars Maintain organized client records Support day-to-day store operations Operations Opening / closing procedures Inventory accuracy and merchandising Maintain clean, polished store presentation Reliable attendance and punctuality Qualifications 1-2 years of optical, eyewear, retail, or related experience preferred ABO certification preferred but not required Willingness to learn and pursue certification/licensure encouraged Strong sales ability with a hospitality mindset Professional communication skills (phone, email, in person) Organized and able to multitask efficiently Honest, dependable, punctual, and resourceful Full weekend availability required Passion for fashion, eyewear, wellness, or premium service environments

Schedule & CompensationPart-Time:
