Open to out-of-state applicants; relocation assistance available for those who qualify Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Site Director - Clinical Research to lead the day-to-day operations of a busy clinical research site in Las Vegas, NV. The Site Director will provide operational leadership to clinical research staff, oversee study execution and financial performance, maintain regulatory and quality standards, and support the continued growth and development of the research site. This position is open to qualified applicants nationwide. Candidates currently living outside of Nevada who are interested in relocating to Las Vegas are encouraged to apply. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates. This role is ideal for an experienced clinical research professional with demonstrated site-level management experience who enjoys leading teams, improving operational processes, and ensuring high-quality clinical trial execution. Key Responsibilities Clinical Research Operations Provide leadership and oversight for daily clinical research site operations. Supervise clinical research coordinators and other site-based research personnel. Oversee study start-up activities, protocol feasibility assessments, study implementation, and closeout activities. Ensure clinical trials are conducted in accordance with protocols, applicable regulations, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and organizational policies. Oversee participant recruitment, enrollment, retention, scheduling, and overall study participant management. Monitor study progress, timelines, enrollment targets, and operational performance. Financial & Business Management Maintain oversight of study budgets and site-level financial performance. Track study income, expenses, payments, and outstanding financial obligations. Monitor budget compliance and identify financial or operational issues requiring corrective action. Prepare and communicate operational and financial reports to organizational leadership. Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for site growth and improved study performance. Team Leadership & Development Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and mentor clinical research staff. Establish individual and team performance expectations and goals. Conduct performance evaluations and support ongoing professional development. Address staffing and performance concerns in partnership with Human Resources and organizational leadership. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and participant-focused work environment. Quality & Regulatory Compliance Maintain compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements, as well as institutional policies and study-specific requirements. Support preparation for sponsor, regulatory, and quality assurance audits or inspections. Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workflows, and operational tools. Lead quality control and continuous improvement initiatives. Identify operational risks and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions. Ensure required study documentation and regulatory files are complete, accurate, and maintained appropriately. Qualifications Requirements Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Demonstrated experience working at the clinical research site level. 2-5 years of site-level clinical research management experience or comparable leadership experience. Experience supervising and developing clinical research personnel. Working knowledge of clinical trial operations, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice. Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple studies, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Master's degree in a relevant discipline. RN, NP, or PA-C credential. SoCRA CCRP certification or comparable clinical research certification. Experience with Phase II-IV clinical trials. Experience with study budgets, financial tracking, and site performance metrics.
