Environmental Field Technician Harvard Environmental, Inc. is a professional service firm conducting environmental consulting services including emergency response, project specific testing and laboratory analysis . Harvard provides services to both public and private entities including government, industrial, commercial, educational, financial, & residential and is headquartered in Bear, Delaware. Harvard is seeking a full-time Field Technician to perform environmental assessments and sampling. Responsibilities Inspection and on-site monitoring for asbestos, mold, lead paint, and indoor air quality Conduct detailed surveys for asbestos, lead based paint, and mold Perform air monitoring and contractor oversight during asbestos abatement projects Maintain, operate, and calibrate a variety of sampling and monitoring equipment Technical report writing and interpretation of analytical data Timeliness, time management, ability to meet deadlines, and responsiveness to emergencies are vital Assignments are of varying complexity and under direction of a project manager Skills & Qualifications

• Any certifications/licenses related to asbestos/lead paint/mold are desired Knowledge of general building mechanical systems and building construction High School or Mechanical/Trade School Diploma Associate or B.S. in Environmental Science preferred Exhibit clear, concise verbal and written communication skills General computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office Independent thinking and self-motivation are essential Requirements Valid driver's license and ability to successfully pass pre-employment screening and physical Ability to commute to remote sites as needed (using own vehicle) Willingness to work limited weekends and second shift, including overtime as needed Willingness to learn, complete training, and obtain various certifications Ability to perform field work and meet physical demands Must be able to carry up to 30 lbs. of equipment and use ladders Must be a US citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship Harvard Environmental is a well experienced company that is constantly growing and provides a dynamic team environment with excellent benefits and advantages.

$23.00-$30.00 hourly, commensurate with credentials, education, and experience.
