Seasonal Agricultural Position Detasseling

Remington Seeds is looking for help for our upcoming detasseling season. We are looking for detasseling field scouts. Responsibilities include monitoring the growth and development of the seed corn crop. Assist with setting and monitoring detassling machine performance. Scout for insect and disease pests. Good communication skills and the ability to work independently is a must . The position can start anytime from now to mid to late June and last through August with the potential to last longer. Previous agricultural experience a plus but not required. Must have a valid drivers license and pass a pre employment drug screen.

$16.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

10 hour shift Weekends as needed
