Responsibilities Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV systems and physical patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches. Control access points by verifying identification and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Respond swiftly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including medical emergencies requiring first aid or CPR when necessary. Enforce safety policies and procedures, managing conflicts professionally and calmly to de-escalate tense situations. Conduct regular inspections of facilities, including perimeter checks and loss prevention measures to prevent theft or vandalism. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security reports to ensure accurate record-keeping. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services during critical incidents to facilitate swift resolution. Experience Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable. Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security protocols enhances effectiveness in this role. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts. Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective conflict resolution. Ability to handle stressful situations with professionalism and composure.
