Skilled Painter

United Staffing Associates is recruiting on behalf of a respected painting contractor for an upcoming commercial building project in Paso Robles, CA. This is a great temporary opportunity for an experienced painter who takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently, & is ready to contribute to a fast-paced job site. The Skilled Painter will assist with all phases of a commercial painting project, including surface preparation, masking, spraying, rolling, brushing, & general site support. Candidates should be dependable, safety-minded, & comfortable working in a construction environment. The painting project is anticipated to take 7-8 weeks to complete.

Duties include:

Preparing surfaces for painting including sanding, patching, scraping, & cleaning; Masking & protecting surrounding areas before painting; Applying coatings using spray equipment, rollers, & brushes Operating & maintaining painting tools & equipment Assisting with project setup, cleanup, & job site organization Following safety procedures & supervisor's direction at all times Supporting team members to keep project timelines on track.

Required qualifications:

Min. 2 yrs recent exp. working for painting contractor Exp. using paint sprayers; Knowledge of surface prep & coating application techniques Reliable transportation & dependable attendance Ability to lift materials, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, & work on active job sites. Previous commercial painting exp. preferred. Temporary position.

Schedule:

Monday-Thursday 7:00am-5:30pm

Wage:

$25.00-$35.00 hr. DOE.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
