Family Development Coach

Job Description

at Community Concepts Inc. in Lewiston, Maine, United States Job Description Are you passionate about supporting families in the community? We are seeking a Family Development Coach motivated to make a difference at our Lewiston Office. A Family Development Coach provides direct customer-based support to clients in their journey to achieve the families' goals. This position is 40 hours, generally 8am-4:30pm, Monday through Friday, however, does required flexibility to accommodate the needs of clients.
Starting Range :
$18.23-$21.00, depending on education and experience
Essential Duties:
Engage with families to collaboratively build partnerships to identify strengths and needs through a Whole Family Approach Complete comprehensive assessments with clients in order to support each individual and family unit to set and meet goals Advocate for families by collaborating with internal programs and external agencies to support application completion and ongoing partnerships Provide service similar to case management/care coordination to ensure clients receive timely and coordinated services. Keep accurate and detailed documentation on clients, support with data collection, and data entry

Desired Qualifications :
High School Diploma required with additional college coursework or related certification Associate's Degree preferred Related experience working with the general public required Five years' related experience preferred
Other Requirements:
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; competency with Microsoft Office; ability to function autonomously and as part of a team. Pre-employment SBI, DHHS, DMV, Maine and National Sex Offender Registry, fraud, and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment; valid driver's license and travel within the service area is required.
