Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality support to individuals in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and assistance with daily activities. This role requires a blend of patience, empathy, and practical skills to ensure the well-being of those in our care. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for residents. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in client health status. Prepare meals and assist with meal planning according to dietary needs. Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe environment. Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary. Engage clients in social activities and encourage participation in community events. Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, or developmental disabilities. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations while providing care. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or long-term care settings is preferred. Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is a plus. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs (including autism). Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring vital signs. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for patient transfers. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life. Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
