We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated In-Home Caregiver to provide direct support to individuals with autism and intellectual or developmental disabilities. In this role, you will assist our clients in developing life skills, managing daily routines, and actively engaging with their local community. Your dedicated support will help foster independence, build self-confidence, and enhance the overall quality of life for the individuals and families we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Living Support:

Assist clients with daily living activities (ADLs), including personal hygiene, dressing, meal planning, and light housekeeping, while encouraging independent skill-building.

Behavioral & Emotional Support:

Implement personalized care plans and positive behavior strategies to guide individuals through daily transitions and manage distress effectively.

Companionship & Engagement:

Facilitate meaningful recreational activities, skill-building exercises, and social opportunities tailored to the client's interests and sensory needs.

Sensory & Routine Management:

Maintain a structured, predictable environment and utilize sensory-friendly tools or routines to help reduce stress and anxiety.

Community Integration:

Support clients during errands, appointments, and community outings, ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging experience.

Communication & Documentation:

Maintain clear, respectful communication with family members and care teams, and document daily care notes and progress updates.

Pay:

$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
