Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Assisted Living Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide exceptional support and care to residents in a senior living environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in assisted living and long-term care, demonstrating a genuine commitment to enhancing residents' quality of life. As a PCA, you will play a vital role in assisting residents with daily activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while fostering a respectful and nurturing environment. Schedule Schedule would be a part time position with opportunities to pick up more hours. Schedule would consist of 2nd shift/3rd shift. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure resident health and safety. Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration following proper protocols. Support residents experiencing dementia or cognitive disabilities through specialized memory care techniques and behavior management strategies. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences. Maintain cleanliness of resident living areas by performing light housekeeping duties in accordance with health standards. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or residential care homes is highly preferred. Demonstrated expertise in assisting with ADLs and providing compassionate senior care. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with residents and team members.
