The Loft at Linn Memory Care Assisted Living is located in East Providence, RI. By joining our team as a Resident Care Associate(C.M.T) you can make a positive impact on the lives of our residents every day. The Resident Care Associate/Resident Assistant (C.M.T) provides a wide range of programs based on a resident's abilities and interests. This position arranges daily and individual activities that incorporate interaction and cognitive stimulation with a personalized, warm approach. The Resident Assistant (C.M.T) provides residents with routine daily care and services including providing assistance during meals, ADLs, and helping to provide for the general comfort and wellness of the residents of the Memory Care Program.
Duties:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming Provide emotional support and companionship to residents Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals Maintain a clean and organized living environment for residents Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or behavior Ensure residents' rights are respected at all times Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create individualized care plans
Education:
Must possess, as a minimum, a 12th grade education. Graduated from an approved State Training Program in Drug Administration.
Qualifications:
Must be a licensed CNA in accordance with laws of this State and must be licensed Certified Med Tech(CMT) . must have an active BLS card. Experience in long-term care, dementia care is preferred Knowledge of resident rights and person-centered care practices Ability to lift and move residents when necessary Familiarity with home community care, memory care, direct support, or home care services is a plus Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Aldersbridge Communities provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind. virus. 7AM-3PM (3 shifts a week) This position includes every other weekend
Shift Differentials:
M-F $1.75/hr S-S $2.25/hr
Wage:
$21.00-$23.00 (experience based)
