Duties Supervise residents during weekend day and overnight shifts, ensuring safety and adherence to program guidelines Support residents with daily activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and recreational engagement Implement behavior management techniques to de-escalate conflicts and promote positive interactions Assist with intake procedures and documentation for new residents or service updates Administer medications following strict protocols and maintain accurate medication administration records Conduct crisis intervention when necessary, utilizing de-escalation techniques to manage high-risk situations effectively Maintain resident confidentiality while documenting incidents, progress notes, and data collection accurately using Microsoft Office tools Support residents in developing life skills and connecting them with community resources for ongoing stability Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management plans tailored to individual needs Engage with families and support networks to foster communication and coordinated care efforts Qualifications Prior supervising or leadership experience in childcare, social work, behavioral health or related fields preferred Strong understanding of conflict management, crisis intervention, and de-escalation techniques Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness, substance use disorders, mental health conditions or from underserved communities highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration protocols and manual handling procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for data entry, filing, and report writing Valid CPR and First Aid certifications; additional certifications in addiction counseling or security are a plus Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with culturally diverse populations and families Ability to handle high-risk situations calmly while maintaining resident confidentiality and safety standards Experience working with youth or in home & community care settings is advantageous Join us in creating a supportive environment where every individual can thrive!
