HIRING CAREGIVERS
$20/HOUR Specialized Medical Staffing is seeking compassionate, dedicated caregivers to join our team. Help support residents with daily living, meals, and activities in a rewarding environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to enhancing the well-being of individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with developmental disabilities, and those requiring memory or dementia care. As a CBRF Caregiver, you will play a vital role in fostering a safe, respectful, and nurturing environment while assisting residents with daily activities and health needs. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in residents' lives through attentive caregiving and personalized support. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance. Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to ensure residents' health status is maintained. Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols, maintaining detailed documentation within electronic medical record (EMR) systems. Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia and Alzheimer's disease, employing behavior management techniques to promote safety and comfort. Utilize assistive devices such as Hoyer lifts safely to aid in resident transfers and mobility. Engage residents in social activities and recreational programs that promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being. Maintain a clean, organized environment, adhering to health regulations and safety guidelines. Document care provided accurately in compliance with facility policies; communicate effectively with team members regarding resident status. Requirements Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable. Knowledge of first aid procedures and emergency response protocols is essential. Experience assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring is required. Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, and behavior management techniques is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work compassionately with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Physical ability to perform caregiving tasks, including lifting using Hoyer lifts or similar equipment; good stamina for active engagement throughout shifts.
