This position offers an energetic and rewarding opportunity to support individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with developmental disabilities, and residents requiring memory or dementia care. Your proactive approach will ensure residents' safety, comfort, and well-being during the morning hours, fostering a warm and supportive environment every day. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support. Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems. Monitor vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status. Support residents with memory care needs, including those with Alzheimer's or dementia, employing behavior management techniques to promote safety and comfort. Provide personal care in accordance with individual care plans while maintaining dignity and respect. Help prepare nutritious meals and ensure proper nutrition for residents during morning hours. Conduct medication passes efficiently and safely while documenting all activities thoroughly. Maintain a clean and safe environment by assisting with light cleaning duties within resident areas and common spaces. Support residents' social engagement by encouraging participation in activities suited to their abilities. Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures to respond promptly to emergencies or incidents. Qualifications Prior experience in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care settings is highly preferred. Knowledge of medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care is essential. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or disabilities in general is advantageous. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation purposes is preferred. Ability to assist with ADLs and provide compassionate personal support while maintaining resident dignity.
