Job Overview Hallmark Homecare of Madison is seeking an experienced caregiver or CNA for a one-on-one, hands-on care position in Fitchburg. This is not a light companion-care position. The right person will be comfortable providing substantial physical assistance with positioning, mobility, personal care, and daily routines. We are looking for someone who is dependable, physically capable, patient, and confident providing hands-on care to a client with significant mobility limitations. What You'll Do Provide hands-on assistance with personal care and daily living activities Assist with frequent repositioning and body positioning, including helping the client move between upright and reclined/laid-back positions Provide physical assistance with movement and mobility as part of the client's established care routine Assist with activities that require bending, reaching, positioning, and sustained hands-on support Support safe wheelchair mobility and positioning Assist with transfers and other mobility-related tasks as directed by the client's established care plan Provide companionship and respectful, one-on-one support Prepare meals and assist with light household tasks related to the client's care Provide medication reminders as appropriate Observe and communicate changes or concerns to the appropriate family/care team Maintain a professional, respectful, and privacy-conscious approach at all times This Position Is Physically Demanding Please read this section carefully before applying.

The caregiver may need to:

Bend, reach, and work from different body positions while assisting the client Help reposition and recline the client Provide sustained physical assistance during mobility and positioning Assist with wheelchair-related mobility and positioning Perform personal care that may involve close physical contact Safely follow established techniques and instructions for the client's care This position may not be a good fit for someone seeking primarily companionship, housekeeping, or light-assistance work. Looking For Required:

At least 5 years of professional caregiving experience Comfortable providing hands-on personal care Comfortable with physically demanding caregiving tasks Experience assisting individuals with significant mobility limitations Ability to safely bend, reach, reposition, and provide hands-on physical assistance throughout a shift Strong communication skills and reliability Valid driver's license and active car insurance Successful completion of a background check English communication skills

Preferred:
