Recovery Community Center Coordinator Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR) - 4.7 Waterbury, CT Job Details Full-time 1 hour ago Benefits Paid holidays Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description CCAR is seeking a full-time Recovery Community Center Coordinator to coordinate and support activities and daily operations at designated Recovery Community Centers. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, highly organized, and passionate about working closely with individuals in recovery. CCAR offers a competitive compensation package, including competitive wages, benefits, paid holidays, and vacation time. A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation are required. Travel to various Recovery Community Centers is also required. Duties and Responsibilities Travel to Recovery Community Centers on a rotating schedule based on need. Work closely with center staff and volunteers to support center activities and operations. Provide telephone recovery support calls. Provide additional support and resources to recoverees. Troubleshoot and guide recoverees during times of crisis. Support tracking of center visits, volunteer hours, meetings, and events. Support training and facilitation. Open and close Recovery Community Centers as needed. Answer telephone inquiries related to agency programs, services, and functions. Maintain databases and related records. Perform other duties as required. Qualifications Two years of experience in customer service or a related field. Proven track record of providing outstanding customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, web-based platforms, and database management. Strong customer service ethic. Strong time management skills. Ability to work independently. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively. Cross-cultural skills and experience working with culturally diverse populations. Knowledge of addiction recovery is a plus. Experience working in a nonprofit environment is a plus. The Recovery Community Center Coordinator is a full-time, nonexempt position working 35 hours per week. Candidates must be able to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays.
