This role integrates office administration, sacramental record-keeping, facilities coordination, fundraising and event management. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while collaborating with parish staff, clergy, and volunteers. Duties Manage Parish Office Operations
  • Oversee day-to-day parish office operations, including reception, phones, mail, supplies, scheduling, calendars, databases, and coordination with volunteers. Coordinate Parish Communications
  • Prepare and coordinate parish communications, including bulletin content, announcements, flyers, emails, website updates, social media, and other print and digital communications. Coordinate Sacramental Records and Services
  • Maintain accurate sacramental records and certificates; coordinate with clergy and families regarding baptisms, funerals, burials, and other sacramental needs. Support Parish Ministries and Religious Education
  • Assist parish ministries, religious education, councils, and pillar groups; coordinate ministry activities and work with the Pastor, clergy, staff, and volunteers to support parish programs. Manage Events, Fundraising, and Parish Activities
  • Coordinate administrative and logistical support for parish events and fundraisers, including registrations, reservations, ticketing, promotional materials, and volunteer coordination. Ensure Compliance and Maintain Records
  • Coordinate required inspections, permits, municipal filings, diocesan requirements, Safe Environment/VIRTUS records, and other regulatory compliance matters under the direction of parish leadership. Coordinate Facilities, Supplies, and Volunteers
  • Assist parish groups with the use of parish facilities, maintain office and liturgical supply inventories, supervise volunteers, and help ensure parish activities are properly supported. Develop Procedures and Promote Parish Engagement
  • Develop and document operating procedures, identify opportunities for standardization and improved efficiency, and maintain a visible, welcoming presence at parish activities while fostering positive relationships within and outside the parish
