Make a difference supporting students across a dynamic local district as a School Social Worker. This contract position is located near Elgin, IL and offers the opportunity to provide vital services to learners throughout the district. You'll work onsite across various schools, collaborating with faculty and staff to help students succeed both academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

Hold a valid Illinois School Social Worker (SSW) License State Professional Educator License (PEL) required Experience working in schools or with school-age children is highly desirable Strong communication, organization, and advocacy skills Ability to adapt to district-wide assignments and support diverse student populations

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide counseling and social-emotional support to students in need Develop and implement strategies and interventions that promote student well-being and academic achievement Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create and monitor support plans Conduct assessments and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as needed Serve as a liaison between school, family, and community resources Work in a full-time, onsite capacity from now until March, managing a district-wide caseload
