Job Description

Step into a meaningful contract position where your skills as a dedicated school social worker will make a lasting impact on elementary students from kindergarten through fifth grade. Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active Illinois School Social Worker license (IL SSW) and Professional Educator License (PEL) Prior experience working as a social worker in a school setting Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, parents, and students Ability to handle a diverse caseload and adapt services to students' unique needs Commitment to confidentiality, equity, and compassionate service
Responsibilities:
Deliver social work services to K-5 students, focusing on emotional and social development Develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans and IEP goals as needed Consult with faculty and staff to promote a positive, supportive school climate Engage with families to ensure students well-being and connect them with community resources Attend and actively participate in meetings, trainings, and school events Maintain accurate, timely records and documentation This full-time, onsite role runs weekdays from 8:00 AM to 3:35 PM, offering stability and the rhythm of a school-based schedule.
