Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid state licensure as a school social worker Previous experience working within a school setting Understanding of adolescent development, particularly in middle school populations Excellent communication, advocacy, and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams Compassionate, resourceful, and dedicated to empowering students

Responsibilities & Duties:

Provide individual and group counseling for 8th grade students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral needs Conduct assessments and create intervention plans in collaboration with staff and families Serve as a liaison between students, families, community agencies, and school personnel Support classroom teachers with behavior management strategies and intervention planning Participate in IEP or 504 meetings, contributing valuable input for student success Offer crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and preventive services as needed Maintain confidential documentation and comply with school policies and ethical standards This position is perfect for a dedicated, compassionate professional looking for a rewarding contract opportunity.
