This contract opportunity is located near Holly, MI, and calls for a compassionate, skilled Social Worker ready to contribute expertise within the educational community.
Qualifications:
Active licensure as a Social Worker in the state of Michigan Experience working in a school environment or with children/adolescents Familiarity with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and behavioral plans is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively with educators, counselors, families, and outside agencies
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct counseling and support services to students facing social, behavioral, or emotional challenges Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in partnership with staff and families Lead or assist with crisis intervention, conflict resolution, and prevention programs Participate in IEP meetings and assist in the creation of behavioral objectives Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal guidelines Foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment for all students This contract-based role presents an exciting chance to positively impact student lives and well-being.
