Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract We are seeking a dedicated and qualified School Social worker to join a supportive educational team with a local school in the Kingston, PA area for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' success through assessment, consultation, and with the collaboration of educators, families, and support staff.
Position Details:
    Schedule:
    Full-Time, 32.5 hours per week
      Workdays:
      Monday-Friday
        Caseload:
        K-12
        • Start/end date: As soon as possible until June 10, 2027
        • Split between two locations
        Key Responsibilities:
        • Provide individual and group counseling services
        • Conduct social, emotional, and behavioral assessments
        • Consult and collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrators to create effective interventions and behavioral strategies
        • Assist with crisis intervention and conflict resolution when needed
        • Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environments for students
        Qualifications and Experience:
        • Valid School Social Worker License
        • PA DOE
        • Skilled in crisis intervention, consultation, and effective communication with students, parents, and staff
        • Efficient in documenting evaluations, reports, and managing paperwork
