As a School Social Worker / Counselor, you will work closely with teachers, administrators, families, and external agencies to ensure our students have the emotional, social, and academic support they need to succeed.

Key responsibilities include:

Individual & Small Group Counseling:

Providing targeted social-emotional support, skill-building, and crisis intervention.

Student & Family Advocacy:

Connecting families with community resources, supporting attendance and behavior initiatives, and fostering a positive school climate.

Multidisciplinary Team Collaboration:

Participating in SAP (Student Assistance Program), IEP, and 504 plan meetings to develop comprehensive student support strategies. What You'll Find at

Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania Educational Specialist Certification in School Counseling (PK-12) or School Social Worker (PK-12) (or eligibility to obtain PA certification prior to start date) Licensed Social Worker (LSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential preferred (if applying as a Social Worker) Demonstrated experience working successfully with a diverse student population Strong crisis intervention, communication, and organizational skills Enthusiasm for a dynamic charter school environment and a commitment to multicultural education
