Job Description

Category Schools - Social Worker Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding school-based contract assignment as a Social Worker, contributing valuable support to students in the greater Mckeesport, PA area. Two full-time positions are available for skilled professionals eager to positively impact students' well-being across dynamic educational settings. Position 1 is based in a program focusing on emotional support and includes involvement with a partial hospitalization program. This assignment begins as soon as possible and is anticipated to continue through June 2027 (dates subject to change). Position 2 is a long-term substitute opportunity covering from October 2026 until the end of January 2027, offering the chance to support students during an extended leave period. Candidates will work onsite, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to provide interventions, build relationships, and address students' individual needs.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work or related field Current Pennsylvania State License PDE Educational Specialist certification Experience in school settings, particularly emotional or behavioral support preferred Flexibility, empathy, and top-tier communication skills Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to changing priorities
