Responsibilities/Job Description:

Provides therapuetic services for the Sexual and Gender Health clinic. Conducts multi-axial diagnostic assessment, determines clinical interventions, facilitates therapy and provides education for patients and their families. Facilitates treatment planning and manages each case. Responsible for development of transition/discharge plan. Communicates effectively and respectfully with others, including interdisciplinary team and all other contacts. Functions as an interdisciplinary team member. Schedule Monday -Friday 8:30am-5:00pm (one evening a week of needed) Required Qualifications Master of Social Work and/or Psychology For outpatient units, De-escalation and Self-Defense training and retraining Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) or Licensed Psychologist or Licensed Prof Clinical Counsel or Licensed Marriage and Fam Therapy Experience with sex and gender therapy Preferred Qualifications 2 years supervised therapy experience in mental health including assessment, individual, group and family therapy
