Outpatient Therapist (Also known as: LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, LLPC, LLP, TLLP, Mental Health Therapist, Behavioral Health Therapist, Adult Therapist) 1. Position Overview Seeking a Full-time, Permanent Outpatient Therapist to join our team in Southgate, MI .
Schedule:
Day Shift Monday-Friday 37.5 hours per week Some evening and weekend hours may be required Flexible scheduling available
Start Date:
08/17/2026 3. Key Responsibilities Provide individual and group therapy for adults. Conduct mental health assessments and intake evaluations. Develop person-centered treatment plans. Maintain accurate clinical documentation. Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, and community providers. Participate in team meetings, supervision, and discharge planning. 4. Requirements Active Michigan LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, or LLP license. Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness (internship/fieldwork accepted). Ability to work independently. Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills. Must be eligible to obtain Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential within 120 days of hire. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (No sponsorship available). 5. Education Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling . 6. Certifications Active Michigan professional license (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, or LLP). QMHP credential required within 120 days of hire. 7. Preferred Qualifications Experience in outpatient behavioral health. Experience treating adults with mental health and/or co-occurring substance use disorders. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills. Pay:
$27.22 - $39.67 per hour
