Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Associate Professional Counselor to join our dynamic mental health team. Juliet Telehealth opportunities Flexible scheduling EHR/practice-management support Billing and claims support Practice marketing and online visibility Professional consultation and support Opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families Opportunity to develop a specialty based on your clinical interests A supportive environment for growing into private practice Duties Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and intake evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to determine client needs. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure client safety during acute episodes, including crisis management and behavior management techniques. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and medical records requirements, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical ethical guidelines. Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions, maintaining high-quality patient care while adhering to confidentiality protocols. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, medical terminology entries, and treatment outcomes within EMR/EHR systems; ensure all documentation meets HIPAA standards. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling from an accredited institution. Valid licensure an Associate Professional Counselor. Experience working with children, youth, or individuals with developmental disabilities; familiarity with pediatrics and special education is preferred. Proficiency in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and art or dance therapy is highly desirable. Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and clinical documentation standards required for medical records management. Strong skills in crisis intervention, trauma-informed care (including PTSD care), and behavior management. Experience working in outpatient or inpatient settings; familiarity with hospital experience or clinic environments is a plus. Ability to utilize telehealth technology effectively; experience with EMR/EHR systems is essential. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and case management; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams is vital. Interested?
