Job Description

Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) & Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) Mallard Mental Wellness, LLC Love providing therapy but don't want to manage the business side of private practice? Come practice with us. Mallard Mental Wellness, LLC (formerly Crescent Counseling Center) is growing, and we are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and/or Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) to join our team. This is a 1099 contracted position , with the flexibility to work part-time or full-time. Clinicians have the opportunity to build a caseload while focusing on what they do best— providing high-quality clinical care. You Focus on Therapy. We Handle the Rest. At Mallard Mental Wellness, we understand that clinicians want to spend their time helping clients—not chasing referrals, managing billing, or worrying about the administrative side of running a practice.
We provide:
Referrals to help you build your caseload Billing and claims management handled by the practice Scheduling and administrative support An established professional practice environment Opportunities for professional growth and collaboration The flexibility of a 1099 position A supportive environment where clinicians can focus on clinical care
STARTING COMPENSATION LPC
— 50% of collected fees LPCA — 30% of collected fees + FREE
WEEKLY SUPERVISION LPCA
clinicians receive one hour of free individual supervision each week while working toward required supervision hours.
POSITION DETAILS
Contracted 1099 position Part-time to full-time opportunities available Minimum of 10 clinical hours per week Evening availability required Weekend availability may be needed Flexible scheduling based on clinician availability and client needs Must be licensed or eligible to practice as an LPC or LPCA in South Carolina
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct individual and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Behavioral Therapy Develop individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments of clients' needs Provide counseling services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families Maintain accurate clinical documentation and coding in compliance with regulatory and ethical standards Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate client care Maintain current knowledge of psychotherapy techniques and behavioral health practices Participate in professional development and training opportunities Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality, ethical practice, and HIPAA compliance
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for clinicians who are compassionate, dependable, ethical, and committed to providing quality mental health care.
Qualified candidates should have:
Current LPC or LPCA credentials in South Carolina Strong understanding of HIPAA and professional ethics Strong clinical and communication skills Ability to build rapport with clients and families Ability to work independently while also being part of a collaborative practice Experience with children, adolescents, and/or families is preferred A genuine passion for helping clients make meaningful changes in their lives
