Job Description
The Aftercare Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the after-school program while ensuring a safe, organized, positive, and engaging environment for all students. The Supervisor provides leadership to counselors, manages student supervision and dismissal, communicates with families and school staff, and ensures Camp Wannado policies and procedures are followed. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support aftercare counselors and other program staff. Ensure the safety and proper supervision of all students at all times. Manage daily student attendance, check-in, dismissal, and parent/guardian sign-out procedures. Assign staff to groups and maintain appropriate student-to-staff ratios. Coordinate daily schedules, homework time, snacks, enrichment activities, outdoor play, and special activities. Provide leadership and guidance with student behavior and assist staff with challenging situations. Communicate professionally with parents regarding program information, concerns, incidents, and student needs. Maintain positive communication with school administration, teachers, custodial staff, and management. Ensure staff arrive on time, remain actively engaged with students, and complete assigned responsibilities. Complete and review accident, incident, behavior, and other required program documentation. Ensure classrooms and program areas are properly set up, cleaned, organized, and secured each day. Monitor supplies and notify management when additional materials are needed. Follow emergency, health, safety, and student-release procedures. Assist with training, coaching, and evaluating counselors. Maintain confidentiality regarding students, families, and staff. Serve as the on-site leader and immediately communicate serious incidents or concerns to Happy Trails management. Ensure all Camp Wannado Afterschool school-site policies are followed. Qualifications Must have experience working with school-age children and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organization, and behavior-management skills . Supervisory experience in childcare, aftercare, summer camp, education, or a youth program is preferred. Candidates must be dependable, professional, energetic, and able to make sound decisions while supervising children and staff.

Required background check , 40 DCF hours completed, must be 21 or older with a high school diploma.Pay:
