Job Description
Full-Time Nanny for Toddler & Infant in Matthews, NC | Job 308 A warm and active family in Matthews, NC is seeking a caring, energetic, and dependable full-time nanny to care for their two young boys, currently 21 months and 2 months old. The family recently became a family of four and is relatively new to the area. They value spending time outdoors, playing together, and providing their children with engaging experiences and activities. They are looking for a professional nanny who will become a trusted and dependable presence in their children's lives while working collaboratively with both parents. Both parents work from home and value clear communication, reliability, and a nanny who is confident managing the children's routines independently throughout the day. Schedule
Monday-Friday:
8:30 AM-4:30 PM- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- No regular evenings or weekends required
Start Date:
September 28, 2026 (Flexible to a week or so before or after) Children- Toddler boy, currently 21 months old
- Infant boy, currently 2 months old The toddler is active and playful and especially enjoys going to the park, spending time outdoors, and participating in water activities.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing loving and attentive care for the toddler and infant
- Maintaining age-appropriate routines for meals, naps, bottles, and activities
- Planning engaging and developmentally appropriate activities
- Encouraging learning through play, reading, music, outdoor exploration, and age-appropriate experiences
- Taking the children to parks, activities, classes, and local outings
- Supporting the infant's developmental milestones, including tummy time and age-appropriate play
- Preparing meals and snacks for the children
- Preparing and washing bottles
- Children's laundry
- Keeping children's bedrooms, play areas, toys, and belongings organized
- Cleaning up toys and activity areas throughout the day
- Washing dishes used when preparing the children's meals
- Maintaining a tidy kitchen following children's meals and food preparation
- Driving the children to activities and outings using the family vehicle The family employs professional housekeeping assistance monthly, so this is not a heavy housekeeping position. Household responsibilities are limited to tasks directly related to the children and maintaining the spaces used during the nanny's workday.
