Child Care Director Hearts of Living Childcare, LLC | Edinburg, TX Help us create a different kind of childhood. Hearts of Living Childcare is a Waldorf-inspired, holistic childcare community created around the belief that children deserve a childhood that feels safe, meaningful, beautiful, and unhurried. Our approach honors the whole child Head, Heart, and Hands through play, creativity, nature, movement, meaningful relationships, and everyday experiences. We are looking for a Child Care Director who shares this vision and can help us build a warm, nurturing, well organized childcare community. What You'll Do Oversee the daily operations of the childcare program. Support compliance with Texas Child Care Regulation requirements. Lead, support, and encourage our childcare team. Help maintain appropriate supervision, ratios, records, training, and safety practices. Build positive, trusting relationships with families. Support teachers in creating nurturing, play-based classroom environments. Help maintain a calm, beautiful, home-like atmosphere for children. Assist with enrollment, staff onboarding, scheduling, inspections, and daily program needs. Step into the classroom and support children and teachers when needed. What We're Looking For We are looking for someone who is warm, dependable, organized, calm under pressure, and passionate about children.

The ideal candidate:

Has experience in childcare, early childhood education, or a related field. Has previous leadership or supervisory experience, preferably in childcare. Is familiar with Texas childcare licensing requirements or willing to learn. Communicates professionally and compassionately with families and staff. Believes children learn through play, relationships, creativity, nature, and real-life experiences. Can balance the heart of childcare with the responsibility of leading a safe, compliant program. Has or is willing to obtain required CPR/First Aid and other Texas-required training. About HOLC We are creating more than a childcare center. Schedule:

HOLC operates 7:00 AM-6:00 PM. Director availability will be scheduled according to program needs. Come help us bring back the art of living for children through their hearts.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
