This vital role combines flexible child supervision with responsible transportation, ensuring children's safety, engagement, and well-being across various settings. As a Child Care Floater/Driver, you will provide reliable childcare support, assist with activity planning, and safely transport children to appointments, activities, and outings. Duties Supervise children of various ages, including toddlers, preschoolers, and elementary school-age children, ensuring their safety and engagement at all times Assist with daily activity planning tailored to children's developmental stages, including educational games, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and age-appropriate learning activities Provide transportation for children to school, appointments, extracurricular activities, and outings in a safe and timely manner Maintain open communication with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and daily experiences Support children with daily routines such as meal times, nap schedules, diapering (if applicable), and personal hygiene Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and emotional well-being Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and safety protocols at all times Requirements Proven experience working with children across different age groups, including infants through elementary school-age children Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education best practices Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience driving children preferred First aid certification and CPR training required; ongoing certification renewal necessary Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly valued Ability to plan engaging activities suitable for toddlers, preschoolers, and youth programs Strong communication skills for effective parent updates and team collaboration Familiarity with behavior management techniques and childhood safety standards Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently while adhering to safety protocols Join us in creating a supportive environment where children can thrive!
