Who Are We:

We focus on each individual's unique needs and deliver the highest quality services possible by ensuring that each individual receives the right support, at the right time and frequency by a caring qualified staff member in the most independent setting appropriate.

What we need:

Friendly and caring individuals who work with adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) living in a residential home setting in Charlotte, NC.

What You'll Do:

Teach and assist with meal planning and cooking. Instruct and assist with household cleaning, personal carehygiene. Provide community recreational activities when available. Provide and participate in in-home leisure activities. Documentation of activities. Help residents develop healthy social habits. Dispense medication and monitor dosages. Must be willing to drive a full-size passenger van.

Qualifications:

Strong verbal skills Willingness to help others At least 6 months of previous experience (paid or volunteer) working with the I/DD population or experience relevant to the role; must be verifiable. A valid Driver's license A High School Diploma or GED At least 21 years old; prior group home experience preferred

Job Type:

Part-time Hours:

30+ hours over the weekend (Fri-Sun)

Rate:

$16.00 per hour (Earn over $500 per weekend)

Schedule:

Friday 6pm-11pm; Saturday 7am-11pm; Sunday 7am-6:30pm (every other weekend; overnight sleep stay FridaySaturday is required) This position does not include pay for time spent sleeping during a shift.
