Job Description
About Best Care Best Care Hospice is looking for self-motivated and compassionate community liaisons to join our team in Flint MI. Liaison is responsible for growing community outreach and being a positive reflection of the hospice program, while being heavily involved in the community. The liaison develops and informs of services within the assigned territory and identifies new referral sources to maintain an ongoing relationship with partners, physicians and sources to provide hospice care in the area.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct door-to-door liaison activities in assigned neighborhoods, facilities, and community
- Engage with potential clients to inform services
- Communicate effectively and persuasively to generate interest
- Provide excellent service by addressing family and patients inquiries and concerns
- Collaborate with team members to achieve individual and team goals
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach out to potential partners
- Participate in fundraising events or initiatives as required
- Conduct market research to identify potential priority areas or demographics
- Assist with electioneering efforts during campaign seasons
Qualifications:
Minimum (2) years of liaison experience for home care or hospice Strong communication skills and ability to inform others Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Previous experience in outreach, client service, or telemarketing is preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of fundraising strategies and techniques is an asset Familiarity with community and healthcare trends is advantageous Comfortable with door-to-door interactions and engaging with the publicWork Location:
On the road mainly, some in office.Job Types:
