Counselor I -
Outpatient Substance Use Services Location:
Spring, TX Organization Type:
Community-Based Behavioral Health & Substance Use Treatment Provider Requirements Active Texas LCDC, LMSW, LPC, or LMFT license in good standing. Experience providing individual and group counseling services. Knowledge of psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and case management . Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary treatment team while maintaining accurate clinical documentation. Job Duties Conduct client intake assessments, orientations, and psychosocial evaluations. Provide individual counseling, group counseling, and case management services for clients participating in outpatient treatment programs. Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans based on client needs and progress. Facilitate substance use education and therapeutic interventions using approved treatment curricula. Monitor client progress, identify potential crises, and coordinate appropriate interventions and support services. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and records within electronic health record systems. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, client case reviews, and community referral coordination to support continuity of care.
Additional Information Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM, with one evening shift per week from 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
Compensation:
Up to $50,000/annually
Preferred Experience:
Substance use disorder treatment experience. Experience utilizing electronic health records and clinical documentation systems. Strong skills in assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field preferred.
